# Terms & Conditions
The terms that apply when you book work with Weekes Plumbing & Heating.

## 1. About us
Weekes Plumbing & Heating is a sole trader trading from 6 Vernon Walk, Epsom, Tadworth, KT20 5QP. All gas work is carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer.

## 2. Quotes & estimates
Written quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Verbal estimates are indicative only. Pricing is fixed once a written quote is accepted, except where additional, undisclosed work is uncovered on site (e.g. concealed corrosion, sludge contamination), in which case any variation will be discussed and agreed before proceeding.

## 3. Booking & deposits
For installations a deposit may be requested to secure materials. Repair work is invoiced on completion. Payment terms are 7 days from invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

## 4. Work standards
All work is carried out in accordance with current Gas Safe regulations, Water Regulations and relevant Building Regulations. Notifiable installations are registered with the appropriate competent person scheme and certificates supplied.

## 5. Workmanship guarantee
A 12-month workmanship guarantee applies to installation work and a 30-day workmanship guarantee to repair work, in addition to any manufacturer warranty on supplied parts and equipment. The guarantee covers defects in workmanship only and does not cover misuse, accidental damage or wear and tear.

## 6. Manufacturer warranties
Where applicable (Viessmann and other major brands) the manufacturer warranty is registered on your behalf within the required period. Warranties are subject to annual servicing in line with the manufacturer's terms.

## 7. Cancellation
Bookings cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee equivalent to the call-out charge. Materials ordered specifically for your job and not returnable will be charged in full.

## 8. Liability
We carry public liability insurance. Our liability is limited to the cost of the work carried out, except where we cannot exclude liability by law (e.g. for death or personal injury caused by negligence).

## 9. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any work carried out, contact us within 14 days so we can resolve it. Gas-related complaints can also be raised with Gas Safe Register at gassaferegister.co.uk.

## 10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
